Inca Trail permits are sold out through Sept 26, but still some permits left for our Sep 30 group Inca Trail. October has permits available.  --Or -- For May-October, -- consider our Moonstone to Sun Temple Machu Picchu trek. No permits necessary, includes Machu Picchu, 5 Days, departures every Sunday from Cuzco. This less-traveled route is a favorite of our passengers, an excellent trek alternative to the Inca Trail. Minimum 2 passengers.

Moonstone to Sun Temple is an excellent trek in its own right, a remote, little-traveled, beautiful route. Permits are not required for this route, yet you still get to Machu Picchu via the train from Ollantaytambo, at the end of the trek. Our past travelers have truly loved this trek. More about the Inca Trail Trek permits.  Permits are issued by the Peruvian park authority and are limited to 500 persons per day on the Inca Trail. This includes passengers and all guides and support staff. Once permits are sold out, it is not possible to get onto the Inca Trail, either throuh us or any other company world-wide. There are no cancellations or wait-lists. Our 5-day trek departs Cuzco every Sunday, returning to Cuzco on Thursday.
